GE Security, 430083001, Model 430 Magnetic Stripe Reader, Gray

The 430083001 is a Magnetic Security Stripe reader, model 430, from GE Security that is designed with a gray colored aluminium housing for help in keeping the device protected at all times. The 430083501 security reader comes with red, yellow and green LED indicators and a beeper, a reader to microcontroller communication distance of 1 mile, an included door strike relay, plus a 12 to 48 VDC input auto sense. The 430083501 security reader also features a jumper selectable F2/F communication/IBM 5029 mode, weather resistance, as well as standard CASI supervised two operation modes. This quality Magnetic Stripe reader is easily installed in addition to being a reliable unit, and is able to read ABA track 2 format stripe cards.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
