The 0287-004 is a 19” 4U rack from Axis that features 14 slots for high compatibility with video encoder blades from Axis. The 0287-004 4U rack comes with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports, hot swappable fan cassettes, redundant power supplies, as well as 14 slots, and a 0-45 °C (32-113 °F) operating temperature. The 0287-004 19” video encoder rack also comes with RS-485 connector slots for PTZ control and I/O port connection to external type devices; it also comes user friendly, and is compatible with all current video encoder blades from Axis.

I have not hooked it up yet as this is new construction and you cannot have electronics in a building before the drywall goes up, but it was easy to select and arrived on time and when we asked for help to see if we could use RG6, they were helpful. What is not to like about S-V.com :)
